This week President Joe Biden was forced to apologize for using the word "illegal" to describe the illegal immigrant accused of murdering a 22-year-old nursing student in Georgia. He arranged a softball interview with MSNBC's Jonathan Capehart, but that did very little to reassure American voters that their president's brain is functioning.
Biden tried recording a statement with Dr. Jill Biden, Ed.D., standing next to him, but that didn't go well either. "It's about the future, not the past," Biden said. "But guess what? We won't let [Republicans] win the past." He also traveled to Milwaukee, where he described himself as "a gigantic supporter of boys … the biggest in the country."
For better or worse, the Democrats are letting Joe be Joe.
