This week we learned President Joe Biden, 80, refuses to eat his vegetables like a big boy and polishes off entire cartons of ice cream when his wife isn't looking. Whatever he's been eating, it has failed to curtail the rapid decline of his physical and cognitive health.
It was a typical week for Biden, who got lost on his way to (and from) a podium, suffered a mental breakdown while attempting to pronounce an Asian name, nearly fell while walking on grass, spoke fondly of a river that does not exist, flubbed the name of a new government website at a White House launch event, and poked a child like a total creep.
In other words, the sort of behavior journalists and other Democrats would find very concerning if Biden weren't running for reelection in the absence of a viable alternative.
