President Joe Biden scolded the American public this week for even thinking about voting for Republican candidates in the midterms. Supporting the Democratic Party, he insisted, was the only morally defensible choice. Being concerned about the soaring cost of living, he declared, was a selfish act of political violence.
It was a bewildering closing message in the final days before the election. Then again, Biden couldn't even remember what century he's living in. As is often the case, it was often impossible to determine what the hell he was talking about. The president recalled visiting America's "54 states," praised Vice President Kamala Harris as the "highest-ranking black Indian with Indian background woman," and falsely claimed to have attended a historically black university.
Biden, who will celebrate his 80th birthday later this month, discussed the damage wrought by "Ion," the hurricane that struck Florida in late September. He urged Americans to settle their differences "peacively at the battle bock" (by voting for Democrats), blamed inflation on the war in Iraq, and attacked former president Donald Trump for failing to pass "infruhfruc" legislation.
Most disturbingly of all, the president kissed a female child on the mouth while touching her chest area.
Have a great weekend!
