Mark Levin Cites Free Beacon Reporting on Congress Response to Coronavirus

Conservative radio host Mark Levin cited Washington Free Beacon writer Charles Fain Lehman's reporting on the congressional response to the coronavirus on his radio show Thursday night.

"Thanks to the Washington Free Beacon, let me tell you, Charles Fain Lehman writes, 'As the nation braces for the effects of the Wuhan coronavirus,' and by the way, you'll know whether a person is a propagandist for the regime in China or not by the way they label this virus," Levin said.

Levin quoted extensively from the Free Beacon's story about Democratic efforts to use the Wuhan coronavirus crisis to push their policy agenda.

"I was talking about what's going on on Capitol Hill and the way the media are reporting this, the Red Chinese media based in America called CNN, MSNBC, and the rest of them. You would think that the Democrats and the Republicans and the White House are just trying to work out the details," Levin said. "That's not what's going on on Capitol Hill."

Levin ripped Democrats for trying to capitalize politically on the crisis, and criticized mainstream media outlets for not reporting on the opportunism.

"This is how Democrats open the door. And here they are now," he said. "Using this pandemic, as the World Health Organization calls it, using this emergency bill to push their agenda."
