WATCH: Karine Jean-Pierre Dodges on Whether Biden's Team Would Wake Him If America Were Nuked

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre neglected to give a direct answer on whether President Joe Biden's team would wake the octogenarian president up to deal with a nuclear attack on the United States.

If the Pentagon discovers that a nuclear weapon is heading toward the United States at 11 p.m., Fox News's Peter Doocy asked Jean-Pierre during Tuesday's press conference, "who do you call, the first lady?"

Biden "has a team that lets him know of any, of any news that is pertinent and important to the American people," Jean-Pierre said. "He has someone, or— That is decided on, obviously, with his National Security Council, on who gets to tell him that news."

In a meeting last week with Democratic governors, Biden said he will cancel events after 8 p.m. so that he can get more sleep.
