A Democratic challenger to Republican House Speaker Paul Ryan (Wis.) on Sunday tweeted out an insinuation that Ivanka Trump might enter into an affair with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
Randy Bryce is an ironworker by trade whose profile was raised after a June campaign announcement was hailed by outlets like the Washington Post as a "great ad" that had the potential to appeal to blue-collar workers.
On Sunday, he tweeted out an image of Ivanka Trump and Trudeau following speculation that special counsel Robert Mueller would be issuing indictments on Monday following his investigation into accusations that the Trump campaign engaged in collusion with the Russian government during the 2016 campaign.
"Don't worry [Jared Kushner]," Bryce tweeted at Ivanka's husband, "regardless of what might go down - she'll be okay."

Bryce's tweet was attacked as offensive to women by another Democratic candidate for Wisconsin's first congressional district, Cathy Myers.
Don't worry #WI01, I'm going to win my primary v @IronStache, so you don't need to vote for someone who thinks women need a man to be okay https://t.co/FnlHVN3n04

Both Bryce and Myers face an uphill battle in 2018; Ryan won reelection with 65 percent of the vote in the 2016 election.
