Donald Trump More Patriotic Than Democratic Challengers, Analysis Finds

July 3, 2019

As Americans from sea to shining sea prepare to celebrate our country's independence from the tyrant King George, it's worth taking some time to reflect on how lucky we are to live in a free country governed by a leader — Donald J. Trump — who embodies the tenacious spirit and unyielding stamina of the Founding Fathers.

Whereas President Barack Obama would "celebrate" the Fourth of July holiday by, among other things, maiming and murdering majestic bald eagles with elaborate torture devices, President Trump celebrates by honoring our great military, and applauding the historic success of the American economy on his watch. He has promised the "biggest fireworks show Washington D.C. has ever seen," as a coda to the "greatest 4th of July celebration in our Nations history." There will also be tanks.

By comparison, the 2020 Democratic presidential candidates are barely acknowledging America's greatness. Most of them, for example, are spending the 4th in Iowa, one of the worst states in the country that, in an ideal world, would have its star removed from the flag after being annexed by Nebraska.

2020 Dems Flock to Iowa for 4th of July

A Free Beacon analysis found that the Democratic contenders' Independence Day plans are woefully inadequate in terms of patriotism. Joe Biden and Beto O'Rourke, for example, are marching in the same 4th of July parade in Independence, Iowa — a decision that is, frankly, a little on the nose, and reeks of desperation.

Biden is also scheduled to attend a "community event" at the Best Western Regency Inn in Marshalltown, Iowa. I wonder how many beautiful American tanks they'll be able to accommodate in Conference Room B. Not many, I'd imagine. O'Rourke plans to attend a number of "house parties," where guests will presumably mingle on their knees in solidarity with Colin Kaepernick. Beto's campaign, meanwhile, is urging supporters to spend their 4th of July canvassing neighborhoods in Greenwich, Conn., one of the wealthiest cities in the United States.

Bernie Sanders is celebrating America by opening a new campaign office in Ames, Iowa. Kamala Harris is attending a "BBQ" in Council Bluffs. Pete Buttigieg plans to "meet" people in Storm Lake. Cory Booker is marching in the "Damboree Parade" in Boulder City, Nevada. Amy Klobuchar is attending two different parades in New Hampshire, including one set to take place on a highway named after Daniel Webster, a statesman renowned for his reckless financial decisions, as well as his "passions and appetites" for gambling and alcohol.

The Founders would be ashamed. Advantage Trump.
