In New York on Sunday, Hillary Clinton suffered a fainting spell while visiting a memorial for 9/11 and had to be escorted out of the event.
When she emerged from her daughter Chelsea Clinton's apartment later in the morning, she was greeted by reporters. However, she did not address what happened at the memorial earlier that day.
"Can you tell us what happened, Secretary Clinton?" a reporter yelled from the crowd.
In the video, she walked out of the door and smiled and waved to the reporters. She said she was feeling great and thanked reporters for their concern, but she did not take formal questions.
Another reporter asked how she was feeling.
"Why did you faint?" asked a separate reporter.
"It's a beautiful day in New York," Clinton responded.
Clinton's campaign has been recently plagued by concerns about her health.
Nick Merrill, a Clinton campaign spokesperson, said the following about the incident:
"Secretary Clinton attended the September 11th Commemoration Ceremony for just an hour and thirty minutes this morning to pay her respects and greet some of the families of the fallen," Clinton campaign spokesperson Nick Merrill said in a statement Sunday morning. "During the ceremony, she felt overheated so departed to go to her daughter’s apartment, and is feeling much better."
