Actress Roseanne Barr took to Twitter on Wednesday morning to fight back against Linda Sarsour for stating on the record that feminism and Zionism are incompatible.
Linda Sarsour, who was once honored by the Obama Administration as a "champion of change," served as a co-chair of the Women's March on Washington and helped organize the "Day Without a Woman" strike earlier this month.
Sarsour is also a prominent Palestinian-American activist known for her anti-Israeli views. During an interview with the Nation, Sarsour claimed those who identify as Zionists cannot be feminists because they are ignoring the rights of Palestinian women.
"It just doesn't make any sense for someone to say, 'Is there room for people who support the state of Israel and do not criticize it in the movement?' There can't be in feminism. You either stand up for the rights of all women, including Palestinians, or none. There's just no way around it," Sarsour said.
Barr tweeted a response to Sarsour.
Is it even possible to be a pro-Palestinian feminist? https://t.co/FRZM6T7a4r

Barr has been a longtime advocate for the Jewish community. The tweet below acknowledging that anti-Semitism must be addressed everywhere is pinned to the top of her Twitter homepage.
