Sen. Kamala Harris (D., Calif.) is facing backlash from Taylor Swift fans after the Democratic presidential candidate hosted a fundraiser at the mansion of music manager Scooter Braun, who is engaged in a feud with Swift.

Swift fans took to social media to slam Harris, Page Six reports.

"I was SO excited for you as a democratic candidate, but if you so choose to go to an event held by @scooterbraun, a man whose arrogance mirrors our president’s, I can no longer hold onto my excitement and faith for you as a presidential candidate," one account tweeted.

"If @KamalaHarris thinks this will get her votes she is delusional and @scooterbraun is a thief who uses these women to advance his bank account just like Kamala Harris used a man to advance her career," tweeted another account.

"He is disgusting," one user wrote. "He’s shady at best. Please don’t attend this."

"Thief and the cop, what a perfect combo," another tweeted.

Swift publicly accused Braun of mistreating her for years after he acquired the master recordings to all six of her chart-topping albums. Braun’s company purchased the recording studio that holds the rights to Swift’s albums this summer. Swift blasted Braun, whose clients include Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande, after news of the purchase broke.

"All I could think about was the incessant, manipulative bullying I’ve received at his hands for years," Swift wrote online. "Scooter has stripped me of my life’s work, that I wasn’t given an opportunity to buy."

"Never in my worst nightmares did I imagine the buyer would be Scooter," Swift added. "This is my worst-case scenario."

Braun reportedly attended a February fundraiser in Hollywood for Harris's campaign and later gave a maximum $2,800 to her campaign.
