Hillary Clinton took a shot at the media on Sunday while congratulating the newly elected French President Emmanuel Macron.
After Macron's victory over opponent Marine Le Pen was widely reported, the failed 2016 Democratic presidential candidate took to Twitter to send her congratulations–and to take a shot at the press.
"Victory for Macron, for France, the EU, & the world," Clinton tweeted. "Defeat to those interfering w/democracy. (But the media says I can't talk about that)."

Clinton was likely referencing allegations that Russia interfered with the election in France before voters headed to the polls. On Friday, Macron's campaign claimed it was hacked after leaked emails surfaced from his campaign.
The former first lady may have been connecting the alleged hacks targeting Macron to her 2016 campaign experience.
The media jumped on Clinton last week after she blamed Russian meddling and FBI Director James Comey for her election loss.
"I was on the way to winning until a combination of Jim Comey's letter on Oct. 28th and Russian WikiLeaks raised doubts in the minds of people who were inclined to vote for me but got scared off," Clinton said during an interview last week. "And the evidence for that intervening event is, I think, compelling, persuasive."
Critics argued that Clinton was not taking responsibility for her loss in November to President Donald Trump.
