Killer Mike Proudly Champions Second Amendment With London Youth

Stan Veuger's running gag, the "21 Greatest Conservative Rap Songs of All Time," is one of the few things on which the Free Beacon and the New Republic can mutually agree: It's contrived dreck that's co-opting hip-hop to fit into AEI policy. Perhaps it's the only thing we agree upon. It's like cats befriending dogs.

It is unknown whether Veuger even likes hip-hop or if this list is just one elaborate troll job, but I figure I can point him in the direction of a rapper with actual conservative bonafides: Killer Mike.

When Mike Bigga isn’t volunteering invaluable wisdom to Republicans, he’s taking to Twitter discussing gun owner rights in a country lacking any. In the midst of a tour across the pond, Killer Mike tweeted about a meeting with London youth.

The Decline of America, Example #74836: British teens knowing the Constitution better than 85 percent of Americans. Killer Mike (and these freedom loving British teens) understands that the Second Amendment is paramount to the American identity historically and in this country's fabric.

Want the truth about gun violence in England? Killa Kill getting the real from the kids out there in the streets. Youth finding Britain's strict gun control, the "panacea" to all violence, impotent? If people want guns, they'll damn well get them? Shocking.

Everyone other than Americans is dumbfounded that there is a movement in this country to actively restrict Americans' God-given rights and the Constitution.

While you could make the case that most rappers believe in gun rights by how many get caught with them illegally, Killer Mike sides proudly with gun owners and gun rights advocates. His prospective is unique, rolling gun rights into civil rights.

Killa Kill is pro-background checks, but he ultimately wants full ownership to his property he's earned.

Whatever legislation that the Left draws up to restrict guns that will ultimately flame out, Killer Mike is keeping his guns.

Killer Mike's detractors disregard Killa Kill's anti-Reagan stance, culminating in his scathing track titled after the 40th president, but everyone is entitled to their free opinion (see Amendment #1).

If those marks out on Twitter actually paid attention to Killer Mike's comments in context pertaining to Obama's empty promises, in his discography and in interviews, they'd understand Killa Kill champions individual rights and responsibility.
