Former vice president Joe Biden hit back at a reporter who asked about a lawsuit alleging that his son Hunter fathered a child with an Arkansas woman.
"I was wondering if you have a comment on this report and court filing out of Arkansas that your son Hunter just made you a grandfather again," Fox News reporter Peter Doocy asked the presidential hopeful.
"No, that's a private matter. I have no comment," Biden responded. "But only you would ask that. You're a good man. You're a good man. Classy."
The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reported that a DNA test proved "with scientific certainty" that Hunter Biden is the father of Lunden Alexis Roberts's child. Biden initially denied having relations with Roberts, but he is not expected to challenge the results of the test.
The DNA test became public due to a motion filed in court by Roberts, who is asking Biden to pay child support.
In 2017, Biden separated from his first wife. She has alleged that Biden wasted money on prostitutes, strip clubs, and drugs. Biden faced Roberts's paternity lawsuit shortly after he married a South African woman just days after they met.
This is not the first time former vice president Biden has clashed with Doocy. In September, he told Doocy to "ask the right questions" when the reporter pressed him about Biden's knowledge of Hunter's seat on the board of Burisma, a Ukrainian natural gas company. President Donald Trump's interest in investigating Burisma is at the center of Democrats' impeachment inquiry.
