White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre appeared on CNN on Wednesday to tout President Joe Biden's response to deadly wildfires ravaging Maui, saying he "cares about folks who have lost so much."
Biden on Tuesday broke four days of silence on the crisis and promised Hawaii "every asset they need" from the federal government.
While vacationing in Delaware over the weekend, Biden ignored questions about the wildfires and on Sunday offered "no comment."
