Sunsara Taylor, an organizer for the group "Refuse Fascism," told Fox News host Tucker Carlson on Tuesday night that President Trump is more dangerous than former Nazi dictator Adolph Hitler.
Carlson began by reading the group's description of Trump's "regime." They described Trump's cabinet as a group of "white supremacists, woman haters, science deniers, religious fundamentalist zealots, and war mongers."
Tucker asked Taylor how she could make an appearance on his show if she was living in a fascist regime.
"We are facing an emergency. Humanity is facing an emergency. A fascist regime has seized the reigns power in the most powerful, actually the sole superpower in the world," Taylor said. "Trump and Pence are operating out of Hitler's playbook, only they have nuclear weapons."
She looked straight into the camera, addressing Trump in case he was watching Carlson's show, and told him that more people were protesting his presidency than were in attendance at his "Nazi inauguration."
Carlson asked Taylor whether she actually believed that Trump was like Hitler, adding that in order for her to have the mass uprising she wanted, there would be violence.
"I absolutely think, actually he's not like Hitler. He has a Twitter feed. He has that ugly orange thing on top of his head and he has nuclear weapons, the biggest nuclear arsenal in the world," Taylor said. "And people better wake up, because he is more dangerous than Hitler ever could have been."
"What are you going to do about it, Sunsara? That's my question, other than like jump around in the street with a sign in your hand. Ok, 'no' and write your little manifesto," Carlson said.
Taylor said that her organization does have a manifesto, and said there must be "mass political resistance."
"You don't oppose fascism with political resistance, but whatever. You may not know that," Carlson said.
Taylor accused Carlson of carrying water for Trump, who she called a "war criminal." She also said Carlson wanted to "normalize fascism."
"I'm giving up, Sunsara. I'm giving up. This is too obnoxious for me," Carlson said. "I tried."
