President Donald Trump unloaded on former aide Omarosa Manigault-Newman in a pair of tweets Monday morning, saying people in the White House "hated her" and she was "wacky," a "loser," and "nasty to people."

The two are in a full-fledged feud after Manigault-Newman revealed she secretly taped conversations with Trump and Chief of Staff John Kelly, and she called Trump mentally unfit for the job and a racist. She rose to fame on Trump's reality shows "The Apprentice" and "Celebrity Apprentice," and she followed Trump to the White House where she got a top job in public engagement.

She has made a series of strong accusations on a media tour to promote her book on the White House, called Unhinged, saying there is a tape of Trump using the "n word" while on the set of "The Apprentice." Trump, who called her a "lowlife" on Saturday, finally gave her the White House Twitter treatment.

"Wacky Omarosa, who got fired 3 times on the Apprentice, now got fired for the last time," Trump tweeted. "She never made it, never will. She begged me for a job, tears in her eyes, I said Ok. People in the White House hated her. She was vicious, but not smart. I would rarely see her but heard really bad things," Trump tweeted.

"Nasty to people & would constantly miss meetings & work. When Gen. Kelly came on board he told me she was a loser & nothing but problems. I told him to try working it out, if possible, because she only said GREAT things about me - until she got fired!"

Trump added he knew it's "not presidential" to take on a "lowlife like Omarosa," but said he knew the "Fake News Media" would do anything to make her seem legitimate.

"Sorry!" he added.

It's not the first time Trump has turned on a former top official at his White House. Trump said former chief strategist Steve Bannon had "lost his mind" after he cooperated extensively with Michael Wolff's scathing book about the Trump administration, Fire and Fury.
