A reporter yelled out to ask President Donald Trump if he would "pardon any people" Tuesday as he performed the tradition of presidents pardoning a turkey before Thanksgiving.
After Trump officially pardoned "Drumstick" at the White House, a reporter yelled the question out as onlookers applauded and drowned him out.
A few moments later, the reporter again yelled, "Are you going to pardon any people?"
Whether Trump heard the question was unclear, but he did not answer.
Former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort was indicted last month as part of Special Counsel Robert Mueller's sprawling Russia investigation, although the charges did not concern his actions with Trump's election efforts.
MSNBC host Craig Melvin predicted shortly before the pardoning ceremony that reporters may shout out political questions at the event, such as Trump's stance allegations that GOP Senate candidate Roy Moore in the past pursued relationships and sexual encounters with underage girls.
"Typically, this is quite the lighthearted affair. However, we expect reporters to be shouting some questions at the president about, among other things, the Roy Moore controversy," Melvin said. "The president has been nearly silent on the matter."
