The Obama administration's biggest fans–the talent at MSNBC–got a golden ticket to the White House Tuesday, where they met with President Barack Obama.
Hosts Rachel Maddow, Al Sharpton, and Lawrence O'Donnell were seen at the White House by Huffington Post reporter Jennifer Bendery. Martin Bashir appears to not have been invited, hosting his show as scheduled Tuesday.
"This afternoon at the White House, the president met with influential progressives," a White House spokesman said, according to Bendery.
The meeting concerned the "importance of extending" the Bush tax rates for the middle-class.
It is not clear if the president thanked the MSNBC delegation for publishing not one negative story about him during the final week of the campaign.
