Hillary Clinton's top lobbyist supporter Tony Podesta will be hosting a book party on behalf of David Brock, one of her most dedicated defenders, on Thursday night in Washington, D.C., according to a Politico report that describes the event as a "hot D.C. ticket."

On Thursday, Sidney Blumenthal, James Alefantis, Paul Begala, Susan McCue, Stephanie Schriock, Eddie Vale and Brad Woodhouse are just a few of the whopping 41 politically connected names listed as hosts on the invitation to one such event in honor of David Brock’s new Killing the Messenger: The Right-Wing Plot to Derail Hillary and Hijack Your Government. Brock, the liberal firebrand and founder of Media Matters, will be toasted and sign copies of his book at the contemporary art-filled Kalorama home of über-lobbyist Tony Podesta.

The event will be held on what was recently disputed property, as Podesta's "art-filled Kalorama home" was a major demand of Heather Podesta in their messy divorce last year. He appears to have kept the house, though the details of the settlement were kept secret.

Also listed as a host for the book launch is Clinton confidante Sidney Blumenthal who Brock has described as a man of "surpassing intellect and fervent devotion to the Clintons."

The last book party Blumenthal was in the news for hosting was his son Max Blumenthal's. Critics said that Max Blumenthal's book, Goliath, "could have been published by the Hamas Book-of-the-Month Club."

Other critics said Goliath promoted views "akin to those expressed by the KKK."

Though Hillary Clinton's views on Goliath are unknown, she thought Max Blumenthal's previous book was "great."
