President Donald Trump is working long hours and only getting four to five hours of sleep a night.

Trump told Fox News host Bill O'Reilly in a portion of their interview aired Tuesday that he wakes up at 5 a.m. to eat, read newspapers, and see what's on television. The president added that he works until midnight or 1 a.m. on an average day.

"I'm working long hours, long hours right up until 12 or 1 o'clock in the morning," he said, according to the Associated Press. "You have to get over it because there's so much work to be done."

O'Reilly then asked what Trump does when gets up in the morning around 5:00 a.m. The president said he watches television and threw in a jab at the media in his response.

"I see what's going on television; I always got some good press as a business guy. I call it fake news, some of the networks and some of the papers, the level of dishonesty, where they will take something that should be a good story and they will purposely change it," Trump said.

O'Reilly then asked Trump why the press covers him like that. Trump said he believes it has to do with his political views.

"Well, because I'm on the other side of the equation. They did it to Reagan, but not as much."
