A student speaker at a Hillary Clinton rally at Iowa State University took the podium on Saturday only to be escorted off after he started criticizing the Democratic nominee.
The president of the Young Democratic Socialists club at Iowa State, Kaleb Vanfosson, spoke at a rally with a Clinton campaign-labeled podium before Sen. Bernie Sanders (I., Vt.) spoke to the crowd, the Daily Mail reported.
Vanfosson briefly spoke about student debt and Donald Trump before saying that the issues the Republican nominee does not care about are ones that Clinton has no concern for either.
"But unfortunately Hillary doesn't really care about this issue either," Vanfosson said. "The only thing she cares about is pleasing her donors, the billionaires who fund her."
"The only people that can really trust Hillary are Goldman Sachs … Citigroup can trust Hillary, the military-industrial complex can trust Hillary, her good friend Henry Kissinger can trust Hillary," Vanfosson continued.
As Vanfosson slammed Clinton, he received a loud round of applause from the audience.
A campaign staffer could be seen coming out of a hallway to go to the podium.
"She is so trapped in the world of the elite, that she has completely lost grip of what it's like to be an average person," Vanfosson said.
The staffer quickly walked on stage and led Vanfosson off.
