White House reporter April Ryan could be heard yelling out Tuesday to ask press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders if the Trump administration felt "slavery is wrong."
"Sarah, does this administration believe slavery is wrong?" Ryan asked as Sanders walked away from the briefing and wished reporters a Happy Halloween.
Sanders took questions Monday on Chief of Staff John Kelly's remarks that the Civil War was caused by "the lack of ability to compromise." Kelly was widely criticized for the remarks, but Sanders defended the comments and said she didn't want to relitigate the conflict.
