The ladies of MSNBC's "The Cycle" spoke frankly of male and female anatomy Wednesday during a discussion about gender in Washington and how there may be "too much penis in Washington."
Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D., Minn.), one of 20 women senators President Obama dined with Tuesday night, spoke earlier about the role women could play in bringing people together to solve the nation's debt problems. Cupp said it was wrong to think Washington's problems boiled down to having "too much penis."
"I think it's silly and sort of a narrow view of politics to suggest this dinner with 20 women senators is going to solve all these problems Klobuchar was laying out and that the problem with Washington is too much penis, essentially," Cupp said. "There's just too much penis in Washington and not enough uterus. I think that's really silly."
"I want that bumper sticker," liberal commentator Krystal Ball said. "Too much penis, not enough uterus."
While Cupp was being sarcastic, Ball earnestly stated that excessive male genitalia was, in fact, problematic for the nation's lawmakers.
"No one dinner with the ladies is not going to solve all of Washington's problems, obviously," Ball said. "But I do actually think that a big part of the problem in Washington is too many penises and not enough uteri."
