Journalists had fun at a Republican congressman's expense when he mispronounced the name of one of their colleagues on Monday, even though reporters had been misspelling his name on Twitter for the previous twenty minutes.
Rep. Mike Conaway (R., Texas) had trouble reading the names of the authors of a Washington Post article he was citing during FBI Director James Comey's testimony before the House Intelligence Committee. Conaway stumbled over Adam Entous' last name and gave up entirely on Ellen Nakashima's name, calling her "Elaine something or other."
But some journalists got Conaway's name wrong when tweeting about his remarks.
This is really slippery slope that Calloway is going down about why sources seek anonymity. Trying to create whiff of criminality around all

Rep Conway cranked up the fog machine, but Comey confirmed again that intel community believes Russia meddled to help Trump win.

Rep. Conway putting us in Faceplam mode. He doesn't understand the logic that yes, the Russians did want to help Trump & hurt Clinton.

Rep. Conway says "condition of anonymity" is always used because source is breaking the law! Hahahahahahahaha.
