Rodgers: Pelosi, Obama Don’t Recognize Spending Problems

BY:

Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R., Wash.) criticized House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D., Calif.) for suggesting that it was almost a false argument that the country had a spending problem and slammed President Obama for not living up to his first-term promise of reducing the deficit.

Speaking with Greta Van Susteren on Fox News, Rodgers said she hoped for more specifics on fixing the country’s economic woes in Obama’s State of the Union address.

“This is the slowest recovery in the history of this country, and I hope that President Obama talks about how we’re going to work to put Americans back to work,” she said.
