Hillary Clinton's 5-Minute Ramble To Dodge Obamacare Medical Device Tax

Hillary Clinton spent five minutes Wednesday dodging a question about Obamacare’s medical device tax at the AdvaMed2014 conference in Chicago.

Clinton was asked how to balance the tension caused by the Affordable Care Act's medical device tax.

"Well, I’m well aware of your concerns. I think it’s 2.3 percent the device tax," Clinton said. "I would hope, and that’s why I advocated in my remarks, the kind of process that is aimed at problem-solving and elicits people of good faith who will come to the table and work for the bet outcomes."

Clinton refused to acknowledge the tax in her five-minute ramble on U.S. health care systems.

"I don’t know what the right answer about the tax is," she finally said.

The AdvaMed2014 MedTech conference wraps up Wednesday.
