Obama Slow to Authorize FBI Investigation of Libya Attack

"Nobody's more interested in finding out exactly what happened that I [am]," President Barack Obama said of the 9-11 anniversary terrorist attack in Libya. "I told the American people and the world that we are going to find out what happened."

More than two weeks after the attack that killed four Americans, including the U.S. ambassador, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) had not been granted access to investigate the site in Benghazi.

When FBI investigators finally arrived in early October, they left after just 12 hours.
