CNN Anchor’s Slip of the Tongue Shows the Network Still Has Obama on the Brain

BY:

CNN anchor Kate Bolduan had a slip of the tongue while concluding her show on Thursday when she told her viewers to stand by for the upcoming press conference with President Barack Obama at the White House.

The gaffe came after her interview with former deputy secretary of state Tony Blinken.

"We are waiting for President Obama to come and speak to the cameras, speak to the media in a news conference," Bolduan stated. "He will be holding a news conference very shortly, at least in part, to announce his new nominee for Labor Secretary after Andrew Puzder has removed himself from consideration just yesterday."

President Donald Trump and CNN are in the midst of an ongoing feud. Trump has accused the news network of covering him negatively and using "fake news" stories.
