Actor and famed martial artist Chuck Norris met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Wednesday during a visit to the Jewish state.

Netanyahu joked that while Israel was a strong country before the meeting, it became "indestructible" when Norris entered the room.

"Israel is strong, but it's indestructible now! Thank you for your support!" Netanyahu told Norris with a smile, according to a Facebook video posted on the prime minister's account.

Netanyahu joked that all security in the building could leave after Norris arrived.

In an Instagram post, Netanyahu and Norris can be seen standing together smiling.

Norris also told the prime minister that he and his wife, Gena O'Kelley, had been "looking forward" to the meeting and are both strong supporters of Netanyahu and the Jewish state more broadly.

Norris has endorsed Netanyahu in the past two Israeli elections, according to the Jerusalem Post.

"Believe me, you'll always have my support," Norris said. "All that was coming down, I didn't know what to do. My wife said, 'I know what to do. I'm calling over there.'"

Netanyahu was not the only person who Norris met with in Israel. On Saturday, he had dinner with Dore Gold, former director-general of the foreign ministry and current president of the Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs, at a restaurant in Herzliya.
