Sen. Hagan Can't Name One Policy To Help Combat Islamic State

Democratic Senator Kay Hagan (N.C.) could not name one policy to combat the Islamic State during Tuesday’s debate against Republican Thom Tillis.

"So is there anything President Obama is not doing that you would do?" moderator George Stephanopoulos asked.

"We need to let the Iraqis and the Syrians fight this battle on the ground," Hagan said.

Hagan said that she believes Congress needs to reauthorize using military force.

"I would go back to Washington in a moment’s notice to have a full debate in Congress on that use," she said.
