Morning Joe: 'My Pet Rock Could Have Gotten 45 Percent Against' Clinton

MSNBC's Joe Scarborough knocked Hillary Clinton on Monday morning, saying Clinton was so bad during the 2016 presidential race that even a "pet rock could have gotten 45 percent against" the Democratic presidential nominee.

"Morning Joe" co-hosts Mika Brzezinski and Joe Scarborough discussed the 2016 presidential race. The co-hosts claimed the 2016 presidential race revolved around Hillary and Bill Clinton.

"This election was not about Donald Trump," Scarbrough said. "It was all about America's reaction to Bill and Hillary Clinton."

Brzezinski said the election being all about the Clintons was not a surprise, especially when "they bought all the women out" during the debate.

"My brain went like 100 miles an hour when those Access Hollywood tapes came out. I thought, this is bad for Hillary," Brzezinski said. "But it's not a surprise. And, two, this will highlight exactly what the Clintons don't want anyone to remember, and then you saw what happened at the debate, they brought all the women out."

Scarborough chimed in after knocking Clinton.

"By the way, my pet rock could have gotten 45% against Hillary Clinton," Scarborough said. "Maybe if my pet rock didn't make any gaffes in the three debates, my pet rock could have beaten Hillary Clinton."
