60 Minutes’ Eight-Year Love Affair With Barack Obama

BY:

As President Obama sits down one last time with CBS correspondent Steve Kroft on the Sunday news program "60 Minutes," we look back at the whirlwind romance between the two stretching back 10 years.

The two have proven quite fond of one another, with Kroft offering fawning, long-form interviews throughout Obama's first presidential campaign and his two terms in office that the latter found quite useful.

Obama even requested a joint, backslapping interview with Hillary Clinton in 2013 as an early sign of his eventual endorsement of her candidacy that Kroft happily provided.

Both Kroft and Obama are former Free Beacon Men of the Year.
