Former Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton will appear this weekend on "CBS Sunday Morning" with host Jane Pauley for her first network television interview since her election loss to President Donald Trump.
"Pauley will interview the former first lady and secretary of state later this week, to discuss Clinton's ill-fated White House campaign, her thoughts on President Donald Trump, Russian hacking, former FBI Director James Comey's effect on the race, her life since Election Day 2016, and her new book, What Happened, which is published by Simon & Schuster, a division of CBS," according to a network announcement, the Hill reported Wednesday.
The interview will air two days before her new book, a memoir on her experience during the 2016 presidential election, is set for release. Clinton has been interviewed at multiple forums since November but has not yet done a television interview.
Since Clinton lost the election to Trump, she has been busy with her book deal and taking long walks in the woods to work through her surprising defeat.
Pauley will interview Clinton this Sunday at 9:00 a.m. on "CBS Sunday Morning."
