MSNBC host Mika Brzezinski drew an analogy Thursday between sex and former President Bill Clinton on one hand and decency and President Donald Trump on the other.
During "Morning Joe," Brzezinksi had a hard time putting her comparison into words.
"I know you're on the edge of your seat as I talk about this. I know what I'm trying to say here, and I'll try and give you a parallel to help you understand," Brzezinski said.

"What Bill Clinton did to the issue of sex to an entire generation, I believe this president is doing on issues of decency, on issues of conspiracy theories, on issues of fake news. I think it's that simple," she said.
However, this parallel did not seem to be as "simple" to grasp for co-host Joe Scarborough, who decided it was best not to explore where that conversation could lead, Mediaite reported.
"We're desensitized if we even argue it," Brzezinski said.
The comments came after an interview with Rep. Mark Sanford (R., S.C.) in which he blamed Trump for the rising tone of national hostility.
"I would argue that the president is at least, is partially, again not in any way totally, but partially to blame for demons that have been unleashed," Sanford said.
