Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the brutal beheading of journalist Steven Sotloff at the hands of ISIL terrorists in an official speech this week.
"I would like to send my condolences to the family of Steven Sofloff," the prime minister said. "He was murdered in profound cruelty by ISIS murderers."
He asserted that Sotloff, who was a citizen of both the United States and Israel, was killed "because he represented for these murderous terrorists a symbol of the West."
"We are fighting the same battle, against the same enemies, for the same values," Netanyahu said.
