Hundreds of Jews Trapped in Paris Synagogue During Anti-Israel Protest

Hundreds of Jews were trapped in a Paris synagogue on Sunday as violent anti-Israel protesters marched on Bastille Square under a banner that read "Total Support for the Struggle of the Palestinian People," according to the Times of Israel.

Two synagogues in the area were attacked, and police in riot gear were ultimately needed to keep the Jews safe from the protesters. Two people that were trapped in the synagogue were injured during the protest.

According to a witness of the incident, stones and bricks were hurled at the synagogue "like it was an intifada."
