The Federal Bureau of Investigation has issued an alert to all law enforcement agencies in Colorado and Wyoming about Middle Eastern men approaching the family members of individuals serving in the U.S. military at their homes.
CBS Denver reported that the alert specifically noted Greeley, Colorado, and Cheyenne, Wyoming, as areas of concern.

The alert reads:
In May 2015, the wife of a military member was approached in front of her home by Middle Eastern males. The men stated that she was the wife of a U.S. interrogator. When she denied their claims the men laughed. The two men left the area in a dark-colored, four-door sedan with two other Middle Eastern males in the vehicle. The woman had observed the vehicle in the neighborhood on previous occasions.
Throughout June of this year, "numerous" like occurrences have been reported to the FBI in Wyoming, according to the alert.
The Middle Eastern individuals have tried "to obtain personal information" about the military members and their families by using "intimadation."
"The family members have reported feeling scared," the alert said.
Those responsible have not been identified and it remains unclear of all of the incidents have involved the same Middle Eastern individuals.
In the alert, those approached are directed to contact residence agencies in their respective states. Colorado’s Department of Homeland Security said military families members should report any suspicious occurrences to the FBI.
