2019 Man of the Year: Hoyt Hutchinson

December 26, 2019

Hoyt Hutchinson was already a hero when he deflated a floating metaphor for liberal failure, but solidified his spot as a 2019 Washington Free Beacon Man of the Year when he defended his heroism to reporters.

In November, Hutchinson was arrested for slashing a balloon depicting President Donald Trump as a crybaby, a display set up by people who still believe there's a chance Hillary Clinton can be installed into office if just enough inflatables are deployed in swing states.

"This is the first time I’ve ever seen a liberal get mad about chopping up a baby," Hutchinson said in the wake of his heroic act.

Hutchinson was referring to the liberal outcry following Alabama's passage of a pro-life law in May protecting life in the womb.

The Alabama man was later arrested for his brave stand against embarrassing balloon displays. The Free Beacon urges Mr. Hutchinson to keep heart, for as another man who spent time in an Alabama jail cell once said, "The arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends toward justice."
