President Joe Biden was booed by a crowd in California after he attended a pilates class during a weeklong vacation to Lake Tahoe.
Biden faced the unwelcoming crowd Friday, a day before he traveled back to the White House after a weeklong stay at an $18 million mansion on the lake. The president walked over to reporters for questions when the boos erupted.
It was the second time Biden attended a pilates and spin class during the vacation, according to his public schedule.
Biden has faced criticism for vacationing in the aftermath of the devastating wildfires in Hawaii.
On Monday last week, the president spent less than six hours in Hawaii. Biden told survivors about kitchen fire that broke out in his home in 2004, before jetting back to resume his vacation.
After initially addressing the disaster this month, he went four days without commenting on it and has repeatedly refused to answer media inquiries about it.
