Past Their Prime: Joe Biden vs. Dianne Feinstein, By the Numbers

Democrats push out one doddering octogenarian while another prepares to run for reelection

April 13, 2023

What's happening: Democrats and liberal pundits want Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D., Calif.) to resign immediately. She's absurdly old (89), cognitively impaired, and her frequent health problems are preventing the U.S. Senate from confirming President Joe Biden's extreme left-wing judicial nominees.

Some context: Feinstein's critics already bullied her out of running for reelection in 2024. That's a good thing. We don't need a bunch of doddering octogenarians in charge of the world's most powerful country.

Alas, many of the same people who want Feinstein gone are going to spend the next year and a half insisting that Biden, 80, deserves another term as president.

Additional context: If Biden is reelected in 2024, he will be almost as old as Feinstein is now by the time he leaves office.

By the numbers: According to a Washington Free Beacon numerical analysis, both Democrats are incredibly old and should have been forced to retire decades ago.
