Gov. Ron DeSantis (R., Fla.) might be the next president of the United States. Maybe he won't be, but at the very least he knows how to throw a baseball like a normal adult man. Alas, the same cannot be said about the current president, Joe Biden, and his Democratic predecessor, Barack Obama.
Notorious liberal activist and WNBA fan Aaron Rupar on Monday attempted to mock DeSantis by sharing a video of the governor throwing a baseball with Fox News host Brian Kilmeade. "Lol Brian Kimeade and Ron DeSantis play catch while Kilmeade conducts an interview," the activist chortled on Twitter, the social networking website.
It wasn't entirely clear why Rupar was laughing at two adult men enjoying their freedom by tossing a baseball in the United States of America. As is often the case, the former Vox journalist neglected to provide crucial context about how DeSantis's form compares to that of prominent Democrats such as Biden, Obama, and the disgraced fearmonger Anthony Fauci.
The Washington Free Beacon will provide said context below in the interest of journalistic accountability.
DeSantis: Pretty good form. Looks like he's done it before. Extra points for wearing a suit and microphone.
Obama: Atrocious. An embarrassment to his country. Looks like a right-handed girl who has never held a baseball or watched a game in her life attempting to throw lefty. Just as bad in a shirt and tie as he is in jeans and a windbreaker.
Biden: Not terrible. Not particularly good, either. This was all the way back in 2009 when Biden was just 66 years old, so his form has inevitably deteriorated since then. That's probably why he declined to throw out the ceremonial first pitch at the Washington Nationals opening game in 2021. He might have embarrassed himself, or worse. Major League Baseball mounds are 10 inches high and falls are the leading cause of injury and death among Americans aged 65 and up, according to the CDC.
Fauci: Almost as bad as Obama. Disqualified for wearing a mask outside. The MLB actually gave this pompous geezer an award that is typically given to players who exemplify "fighting spirit and competitive desire." What a farce.
George W. Bush: Perfect. No notes. God bless America.
