Hillary Clinton is a terrible candidate, a new Quinnipiac poll has found.
The Democratic Party’s only declared presidential candidate’s favorable/unfavorable rating is slightly underwater at 46 percent/47 percent. She is no longer dominating her prospective GOP challengers, despite continuing to enjoy a significant advantage in terms of name recognition. In head-to-head match-ups, Clinton fails to garner 50 percent against any Republican candidate, and her lead has fallen to single digits against all of them. Senator Marco Rubio trails by just 2 points, 43 percent to 45 percent.
The poll suggests that the barrage of shady details coming out regarding the Clinton Foundation may be hurting Hillary’s image among voters. A majority of voters (54 percent) do not find her "honest and trustworthy," compared to just 38 percent who do. That number is even more pronounced among independents, 61 percent of which don’t find her trustworthy, compared to just 33 percent who do. Even younger voters, by a margin of 51 percent to 35 percent, are not inclined to trust Hillary.
That’s not good. Ready for Biden?
