The Toronto Raptors, a Canadian basketball team, are just one win away from an NBA title after pulling off a second road upset of the defending champion Golden State Warriors. Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is pretty pleased with himself.
3 down, 1 to go. Bring it home, @Raptors. #WeTheNorth

And why shouldn't he be? All evidence suggests that Trudeau has been colluding with former President Barack Obama to strengthen Canada and humiliate the United States through sports. Obama's meddling is a clear attempt to undermine President Donald J. Trump's pro-winning, pro-American agenda, and would be of greater concern to a national media establishment that wasn't so hopelessly corrupt and compromised by militant liberalism.

After yucking it up with Trudeau over some Canadian pints, our former president attended Game 2 of the NBA finals in Toronto, where he looked on as the Warriors lost two starters to freak injuries. It was hardly the first time talented athletes have hurt themselves on Obama's watch. Some have described this bizarre phenomenon as "The Obama Curse."

The Warriors ultimately held on to win Game 2 and even the series at 1-1, but the wheels have fallen off since that fateful game under Obama's odious glare. With All-Star shooting guard Klay Thompson and center Kevon Looney nursing Obama-related injuries, the Warriors lost Game 3 at home, their first such loss since 2016. Thompson and Looney both returned for Game 4, but Canada prevailed again in improbable fashion to take a 3-1 series lead.
The Raptors just need one more win to be crowned NBA champions. In order for America to avoid humiliation, however, the Warriors will have to win three games in a row—two of which will be played at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, where the Obama-involved injuries occurred.
In what may or may not be a coincidence, this all took place at a time when President Donald J. Trump was travelling abroad in defense of American values. But even as a America stands on the brink of defeat and humiliation, our current president has yet to weigh in on the scandal, raising questions about his own alleged commitment to winning.
Where have you gone, Mr. President? A nation turns its lonely eyes to you.
