Twice-failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton wants to preemptively take some options "off the table" when it comes to how the United States confronts its enemies.
In response to a recent Axios report on President Donald J. Trump's unwillingness to rule out a nuclear strike against menacing weather hurricanes that threaten American lives, Clinton posted a comment on the popular social networking website Twitter.
We should not nuke hurricanes.

Conflict experts agree that preemptively ruling out certain military options against one's enemies runs counter to a successful deterrence strategy. Hillary might know this if she had spent more time as Secretary of State conducting actual diplomacy, and less time deleting emails and manufacturing anecdotes for her failed memoir.
Meanwhile, the actual scientific evidence suggests that Trump's hurricane policy is working.

Sorry, Hillary. Appeasement is not the answer.
