It looks like Bernie Sanders plans to run again for president in 2020, but one of his most fervent supporters in 2016 is reportedly seeing someone else.

Actress Rosario Dawson announced her support for Sanders in a passionate open letter to one of his critics. She then traveled the country on the campaign trail with him, cut an ad for his campaign, and stuck with him after Hillary Clinton won the nomination.

It appears now, however, that Dawson's allegiances are with potential 2020 rival Cory Booker, who has been dating Dawson since last year, the New York Post reports.

The rumors began when Dawson was spotted backstage at a Broadway play professing her love for the New Jersey senator.

Dawson may not be the only one moving on from Sanders, who was aided in 2016 by being the only alternative to Hillary Clinton.

"I don't see a lot of lasting energy for Bernie," said Daily Kos founder Markos Moulitsas. "It's different from last time when he was the alternative to an unfortunately flawed front-runner, and there were just two of them."

Moulitsas added that "people have mostly moved on" from Sanders, citing Booker as a possible candidate who could carry the progressive mantle in 2020.

Neither Dawson nor Booker have confirmed the relationship.
