This here blog took a pass on weekly recaps of The Bachelorette this season, but its worth noting that Andi Dorfman selected former pro baseball player Josh Murray as her one true love. Or something.
Josh is the older brother of Aaron Murray, greatest Georgia Bulldog quarterback ever and current clipboard holder for the Kansas City Chiefs.

With no conference or BCS titles in hand, Murray’s greatest accomplishment in his career has been getting local Fox Philadelphia reporter Kacie McDonnell to pick up his phone call.
Don’t mistake my gentle teasing of Murray as denouncing his skills as quarterback. Murray will be a solid pro. However, the Chiefs are in for a rough year. Kacie shouldn't be storing her Eagles gear anytime soon.
While the Chiefs made it to mid-November undefeated last season, Kansas City took advantage of the 27th hardest schedule last year. For their efforts, they’ll be awarded the seventh hardest for 2014. Kacie's bestie Katherine Webb will be watching the Cincinnati Bengal play the 23rd hardest schedule this season.
KC will make it to the bye week having faced Denver, New England, and San Francisco and the Broncos and Niners on the road. Pencil in three loses right there. Kacie's other bestie, Lindsay Dukes, won't be able to enjoy the company of her boo on a Sunday until Week 11.
Kansas City was able to resolve running back Jamaal Charles’ contract extension before camp, but Charles has had the sort of workload that wears out a tailback at his age. Compare KC's handling of Charles to how Seattle is handling their own aging workhorse’s contract demands. There’s a reason Seattle has a Lombardi Trophy and Kansas City doesn’t.
With KC’s schedule so perilous and Alex Smith so uninspiring, I’m banking on Murray to be promoted by the bye week. The Chiefs have promise at wide receiver and Murray can make throws the Chiefs' current starter can't, so they’ll go a lot farther having Murray air it out to Dwayne Bowe in a rebuilding and learning year rather than go down with Smith. Plus Murray's threat of throwing downfield would give Charles some room to operate. ESPN's Britt McHenry would certainly report on Murray's promotion.
Kansas City has pieces in place at all three phases of the game, yet they've been lacking a solid signal caller ever since Trent Green was carted off the field with his 87th concussion. Murray calling plays would provide a salve for their entire team.
With the Chiefs staring at a season likely to finish below .500, why not start Murray's maturation process sooner rather than later?
Let Aaron Murray win a big game for once. This is the closest he was to ever winning a Heisman after all.
