Happy Anniversary: It's Been 7 Years Since Obama Bro Ben Rhodes Was a Special Guest at Fidel Castro's Funeral

(May he burn in hell)

December 4, 2023

Seven years ago today, Ben Rhodes attended the funeral of Cuban dictator Fidel Castro as a special guest of the communist regime. The failed novelist and former White House national security adviser, best known for helping Barack Obama coddle America's enemies, mourned the ruthless strongman alongside official delegations from China, Russia, and Iran.

American taxpayers footed the bill for the trip.

Rhodes was the obvious choice to represent the United States at the commie dictator's funeral due to his role as "principal interlocutor with the Cuban government" during the Obama administration, according to then-White House press secretary Josh Earnest, who also defended the Rhodes-led initiative to reward the Iranian government with hundreds of millions of dollars that it could then use to fund terrorist groups such as Hamas.

In a lengthy New York Times profile published in May 2016, Rhodes discussed his supernatural "mind meld" with Obama, widely regarded as the worst living former president of the United States. "I don't know anymore where I begin and Obama ends," he boasted. Rhodes also touted his ability to manipulate journalists who "literally know nothing" about the topics they're assigned to cover.

More recently, Rhodes has been writing his own columns for the Times and attacking Israel for waging war on Hamas, the Iranian-funded terrorist group that murdered more than 1,200 Israelis on Oct. 7.

Happy Anniversary, bro!
