Democrats Disgrace Themselves on Father's Day Weekend

This is embarrassing. America deserves better.

Instead of celebrating Father's Day like normal Americans, President Joe Biden and other leading Democrats humiliated themselves (and their country) over the weekend.

Biden appeared to suffer another "freezing" incident during a Hollywood fundraiser hosted by Jimmy Kimmel of ABC News, the network tapped to moderate one of two presidential debates this cycle. Former president Barack Obama was forced to intervene by grabbing the 81-year-old and coaxing him off stage to safety.

Moments earlier, Biden rambled incoherently about helping the United States achieve "the highest unemployment" in 50 years and revealed some campaign advice he got from his convicted felon son, Hunter: "You should say, 'Joe jobs.'" Yeah, he should totally do that. Genius!

Hillary Clinton reminded people why she lost the 2016 election during a surprise appearance at the Tony Awards on Sunday. She got a standing ovation from the (nearly homogenous) crowd of rich white liberals, then attempted to make a joke about losing to Donald Trump. "I know a little bit about how hard it is to make change," she said, potentially implying (as she has before) that the 2016 election was stolen from her due to Russian hacking. The applause notwithstanding, no one actually misses her.

Senate majority leader Chuck Schumer (D., N.Y.) disgraced himself with a Father's Day post on social media that he eventually deleted in response to widespread outrage. The prominent Democrat posted a photo of himself in "Father's Day Heaven," by which he meant, "having a barbecue with hot dogs and hamburgers on the grill."

Most normal Americans were deeply offended by Schumer's photo, which captured the majority leader putting cheese on a raw hamburger patty. As many pointed out, the majority leader was endorsing an unsafe grilling technique that could get someone killed.

Ugh. This is embarrassing. Americans deserve better.
