Hunter Biden went on trial this week for lying about his crack addiction to buy a gun, but his current and former lovers were the ones making headlines for outlandish behavior.

For example, prosecutors disclosed that Hallie Biden, Beau Biden's widow with whom Hunter had an extramarital affair, will testify that she also became addicted to crack cocaine during the torrid relationship with her late husband's brother. It was Hallie who in October 2018 found the gun at the center of Hunter's trial and tossed it in a grocery store trash can, where it was discovered and turned in to police. Days after purchasing the gun, Hunter texted Hallie that he was "sleeping on a car smoking crack."

Hunter's current wife, Melissa Cohen, made a scene outside the Delaware courtroom on Wednesday when she confronted a former Trump aide. "You have no right to be here, you Nazi piece of s—," the unhinged spouse told Garrett Ziegler, the former White House trade adviser alleged to have played a role in publicizing the contents of Hunter's now-infamous laptop.

During the 2020 presidential campaign, mainstream journalists sought to censor reporting on Hunter's laptop, which they deemed to be part of a foreign disinformation campaign. According to whistleblower testimony, however, the FBI authenticated the laptop as early as November 2019, months before President Joe Biden secured the Democratic nomination.

President Biden, who made what the New York Post called a "surprise nighttime visit" to Hallie Biden days before she was scheduled to testify in Hunter's trial, has refused to comment on the case despite previously insisting that his son "has done nothing wrong." The Wall Street Journal editorial board condemned those comments, from May 2023, as a "highly inappropriate message" to federal prosecutors.

Another Biden wife, first lady Dr. Jill Biden, Ed.D., made an appearance at the U.S. District Court in Delaware earlier this week. She was wearing a "purple monochromatic pantsuit, Valentino stilettos and a perfectly coiffed mane," according to USA Today. It is presumed that Dr. Jill was there to support her stepson Hunter, who has described her in text messages to members of the Biden family as a "vindictive moron" and "selfish silly entitled c—t" who "wouldn't survive one class in a ivy [sic] graduate program."
