Conservative commentator Kimberly Guilfoyle has signed a long-term deal with Fox News Channel, the network announced Thursday, putting an end to rumors that she may join President Donald Trump's White House.
Guilfoyle said last month that she was in talks with the Trump administration to possibly replace Sean Spicer as press secretary. The New York Times reported Trump himself put Guilfoyle forth as a possible replacement.
However, White House sources told the Washington Examiner that Trump was personally angry at Guilfoyle for her remarks about Spicer's job, saying that she was never a finalist for the position in the first place.

Guilfoyle has been a co-host since 2011 on the popular Fox program "The Five."
In addition to her gig on "The Five," she was also a frequent guest on "The O'Reilly Factor" until its abrupt cancellation, and she has also made appearances on "Hannity" and "Fox and Friends," among other shows.
